This was a repair I did today on a first generation Vaillant ecotec Pro 28 Combi boiler in Barnsley, S71.
The fault was an intermittent F.61 fault, allowing the boiler to be reset each time. Often is the case with these models that the printed circuit board starts to fail and presents the F.61 fault code.
This was a repair I did this week on Wednesday, on a Vaillant ecotec Plus 937, in Norton, Sheffield, S11, South Yorkshire. The issue was with the hot water not working properly.
I can typically repair hot water issues with the 937 within one visit. I carry plenty of spares these models including the expensive actoSTOR pump that you will read about.
This was an annual service of a Vaillant ecoMAX Pro 28 E heat only boiler, in Mosborough, Sheffield, S12.
I don’t come across many of these boilers in the area I work in to be honest. Most of them I come across are branded as Glowworm hxi boilers which is almost identical to the ecoMAX Pro. The ecoTEC Plus 400 Series which supersedes the ecoMAX Pro is also very similar.
This was another Vaillant TURBOmax Plus 828E I worked on this week, this one being a repair of a faulty printed circuit board. this was a job for a customer of mine who lives in S70, Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
This boiler is installed in a fairly large house and the customer actually has 3 of them which service various parts of the house.
This was a little service I did on a Vaillant TURBOmax Plus 824/2E I did for a customer in Doncaster in recently.
I don’t work on as many of these old TURBOmax’s anymore, there are still quite a few around but they are getting replaced and are slowly being phased out for newer high efficiency condensing models.
This was a service/repair job I did for a customer today in Rotherham, S61. Ive been looking after this particular boiler since 2015.
It has been well looked after by myself, and I don’t think it had any issues up until this point.
This was just supposed to be a standard service on a boiler which I serviced a couple of years prior. When I was checking the boiler over I noticed that the diverter valve was leaking slightly when it was moving between domestic hot water and central heating mode.

Today I serviced a second generation Vaillant ecoTEC PRO 28 combi boiler in Ecclesfield, Sheffield, S5.
I have been servicing this boiler for the last four years or so and it has continued to work reliably since it was fitted.
This was a standard annual service of a Vaillant ecoTEC PLUS heat-only boiler in Ecclesfield, Sheffield S5, done in August 2018.
I started looking after this boiler back in 2015 a year after it had been installed.
This customer has had me back each year for its annual service. So far it has been a reliable boiler with no issues.
