This is a repair I did on a first generation Vaillant ecoTEC PLUS 831 in JUNE 2018 in Rotherham, S60.
I have been taking care of this boiler for this customer for the last couple of years. The fault was an intermittent F62 fault code with the boiler needing to be reset each time. In this instance the printed circuit board was the culprit and needed to be replaced. The customer opted for a brand new replacement part which I carry as stock for repairs which comes with a 12 month manufacturers guarantee.
These parts work across a range a different models and when you replace the board you are usually presented with the F70 code. You then have to tell the circuit board which appliance it is on and test the boiler afterwards.
I carry brand new printed circuit board’s and a reconditioned option for service and repair on Vaillant ecoTEC boilers. I can fix this F.62 problem with one visit, at a rather reasonable rate if I do say so myself.
